Yaala Sparkling breaks through on Amazon Australia

Zak Kirkup -

What began as a bold idea to bottle Country is now landing on doorsteps nationwide.

Yaala Sparkling — the Indigenous-owned beverage company founded by proud Wiradjuri woman Tara Croker — is now available on Amazon Australia.

It's a major step forward for the brand and a clear signal that the native food and beverage sector is entering a new phase of scale and visibility.

With a passion for equity, inclusion and storytelling, Ms Croker has channelled her experience into a brand that reflects both place and perspective.

"Yaala Sparkling was born from a passion for sharing the rich flavours of native Australian ingredients and deepening the connection between people, culture, and Country," she said.

"Launching on Amazon Australia means more people can experience the taste of our land, no matter where they are. It's a huge step in making Indigenous-led native foods more accessible and celebrated."

The Amazon partnership comes through their First Nations Business Accelerator, an initiative aimed at helping Indigenous businesses reach broader markets while maintaining cultural and brand integrity.

Mike Hill, a Wadandi Pibbulman man and Amazon Australia's First Nations Lead, said Ms Croker and her team were exactly the kind of operators the program was built to support.

"Tara and her team exemplify the innovative spirit of Indigenous businesses, bringing unique Australian native flavours to a wider audience through our store," Mr Hill said.

"We're proud to work with Indigenous businesses to help them reach customers across Australia and beyond — and in doing so, create meaningful pathways for First Nations entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and share their stories."

Yaala Sparkling's four unique flavours — including Desert Lime & River Mint, Quandong & Native Ginger, Davidson Plum & Waratah and Lemon Myrtle & Native Blossom — aren't just a nod to native ingredients.

They're a direct line to Country, bottled with purpose.

Now, with national distribution via one of the world's biggest retail platforms, that connection just got a whole lot closer.
