Ember Connect launches March round of Professional Development Grants for First Nations women

Ember Connect has launched the March 2026 round of its Game Changer Grants, awarding four $2,500 grants to support the professional development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.

Supported by BHP, this round focuses on enabling First Nations women to access conferences, accredited training, leadership programs and other professional development opportunities.

Ember Connect General Manager Narelle Henry said investing in professional growth is critical to long term economic independence.

"When we back First Nations women to invest in their own development, we strengthen leadership across communities, workplaces and industries," she said.

Applications close 31 March 2026, with funded activities commencing from 1 May 2026.
