Four staff at Cherbourg Digital Call Centre in Queensland's South Burnett have earned a Certificate III in Business, all while clocking in for their regular shifts.

Blanch McLeod, Tarryn Hopkins, Velincia Fewquandie and Koby Douglas picked up their qualifications through TAFE Queensland's Cherbourg campus.

The four workers studied alongside their employment at the call centre, which provides local jobs and training in digital and customer service work.

Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council hailed the graduates, saying their new skills will open doors to more jobs and career prospects across the community.

"At Council, we believe in creating real pathways to employment, training and career development," the council said.

"Supporting our local workforce to gain recognised qualifications is just one of the many ways we are helping to build brighter futures for our community."

The council also tipped its hat to call centre manager Pikeeta Francis and TAFE Queensland's Cherbourg staff for backing the workers through their studies.

"Your hard work and determination are something to be proud of, and we look forward to seeing where your journey takes you next," the council said.
