Wiimali founder and managing director, Bianca Lore, has been nominated for the 2026 Business News 40under40 Awards.

In announcing the nomination, Wiimali said Ms Lore founded the company "from lived experience, cultural responsibility and a clear vision to create safer pathways for Aboriginal people in mining and heavy industry".

"Under her leadership, Wiimali has grown into a respected conveyor, construction, mechanical and labour solutions provider, while introducing a model that brings cultural and emotional intelligence into high-risk operational environments," the company statement read, noting that the nomination reflects a "leadership style grounded in integrity, accountability and community".

Ms Lore said she was initially at a loss for words to describe her reaction to the nomination.

"I'm so grateful to be nominated for the 2026 Business News 40under40. While my name may sit on the nomination, this is truly an extension of what our team are doing on the ground every single day," she said.

"The long shifts, the high standards, the cultural care, the quiet leadership, the accountability; that's Wiimali. That's them. This recognition reflects the collective commitment of a team who show up with integrity, strength and pride for who we are and who we represent. I'm incredibly appreciative, and very proud, to stand beside this team."

Wiimali's statement said the company, as a 100 per cent Indigenous-owned, female-led Traditional Owner business, is "honoured to see Bianca considered alongside Western Australia's leading young innovators".

"This represents our team, our partners and our communities."
