A total of $145,000 is available for the 2025-26 financial year, with eligible applicants able to receive up to $2,500 each to host activities in Queensland during National NAIDOC Week from 5 to 12 July.

The funding is intended to support events which recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, while creating opportunities for all Queenslanders to learn through local stories, art and cultural activities.

The program also aims to strengthen respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, while promoting equity, inclusion and social cohesion.
